The conflict usually happens between Kitazawa brothers, because they have some kind of secrets about their mom. Daichi thinks that Sora wasn't sad when mom died, so he thinks of Sora as a traitor. But actually, Sora really loves Daichi.
What is the basic story line?
Najika has absolute sense of taste and cooking skills. She loves to cook, and although she is orphan, she lives happily with Hagio-sensei. Then, she goes to the Seika academy to find her flan prince. She has hard time hanging along with her friends, but soon, she fits with Sora Kitazawa and Daichi Kitazawa, who are director's son. Later, she gets along with Akane Kishida, too, who is a model. When she starts to love Sora Senpei, he dies because of car accident. She loses her sense of taste because of that shock. By the time her sense comes back, another boy comes. His name is Seiya Mizuno. He is very good at cooking, too, but Najika's mind is already on Daichi. Later on, Najika recognizes that Daichi was her flan prince. They have good time together, and so was Akane and Seiya Mizuno, too.
Are the characters believable?
Yes. Although the person who has absolute sense of taste is not very common, I think it'll exist. Najika is orphan, but always laugh, and tries to help others. Akane is realistic, too, because there can be a model between friends! Sora and Daichi fights everyday, but they really love each other. Those kinds of brothers are common, too! So, I think these characters are believable.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how could you rate this book?
I would rate this book an 8. Miyuki Kobayashi had good story, and Nasumi Ando drew very well. I wish this book can be on novels, too. However, as most of the reviews say, the story is too evident. I can easily guess what will happen next. One girl was just normal girl, and handsome guys come to her. They all get along each other, but one of them dies. Then, the girl loves the other one, and lives happily together. However, I'm sure that this book is still a very good book! You'll definitely love this book as soon as you see the first page.
